►  You will need to provide a valid ID on the first day of the course, such as a copy of your passport or driving licence

► If you need to re-sit the test, you must do this within 90 days of the original course date at an additional charge

CITB SMSTS Course

The 5 Day SMSTS online course (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) - is delivered in real-time by an expert trainer online via zoom video conferencing. The learning materials are structured and delivered in a format to get you familiar with the new CITB online exam paper and questions.

The SMSTS course, or Site Management Safety Training Scheme, is a qualification created by CITB to establish a clear industry-wide standard for the management of health and safety on construction sites. An SMSTS qualification is shown in the Approved Code of Practice for construction regulations, it is considered to be a key requirement for anyone who wants to be a site manager.

The SMSTS course covers all relevant legislation affecting safe working in the building, construction and civil engineering industries. It highlights the need for risk assessments in the workplace, the implementation of the necessary control measures and adequate communication to sustain a health and safety culture throughout the workforce.

SMSTS online course agenda

This is a highly interactive course taught through case studies, classroom discussion, group work and individual or group presentations. You will need to do some self-study outside the course.

CITB SMSTS Refresher Course

The 2-day SMSTS Refresher online course is only available to delegates who have previously passed the full 5 day Site Management Safety Training Scheme (SMSTS) CITB course. Delegates must be able to provide proof of their full SMSTS certificate to be eligible for the two-day SMSTS Refresher course. The delegates current SMSTS OR SMSTS Refresher certificate must not have expired or they will need to re-take the full five-day SMSTS course.

The SMSTS is a prerequisite qualification for site managers working on a UK construction site. The SMSTS Refresher enables site managers to maintain their SMSTS qualification when taken within 5 years of taking their original SMSTS course. The two day remote learning course ensures the SMSTS qualified site managers enhance existing managerial skills necessary to achieve compliance with any new legal duties and responsibilities placed on them and their workforce.

CITB SSSTS Course

The 2 day SSSTS online course (Site Supervisor Safety Training Scheme) - is delivered in real-time by an expert trainer online via zoom video conferencing. The learning materials are structured and delivered in a format to get you familiar with the new CITB online exam paper and questions.

The SSSTS course is for you if you’re considering, or already have, supervisory responsibilities  working on a UK construction site. The SSSTS course gives you an understanding of the health, safety, welfare and environmental issues on a construction site.

SSSTS online course agenda

This is a highly interactive course taught through case studies, classroom discussion, group work and individual or group presentations. You will need to do some self-study outside the course.
